Data We Collect
- Saved form field data: Values you choose to save (e.g., name, email, address) for autofilling. These stay on your device unless you enable cloud sync.
- Profiles & settings: Profile names, colors, preferences (dark mode, notifications, etc.), and active profile info.
- Usage stats: Simple counts such as forms filled and saved fields, used only to display statistics in the popup UI.
- Export/import data: When you export, your data is packaged into a JSON file and downloaded locally to your computer — never uploaded anywhere automatically.
- Google account ID (optional): Used only if you sign in for cloud sync. No password or sensitive Google data is accessed.
How We Use the Data
- To detect, capture, and autofill forms on websites you choose.
- To save and manage your form data in multiple user profiles.
- To sync data between your devices (if you enable Google Sync).
- To generate export files you can back up or share manually.
- To display usage statistics and improve your autofill workflow.
Data Storage
- chrome.storage.local: Saves your data only on your device.
- chrome.storage.sync: Syncs minimal preferences and profile info across your Chrome sessions if Chrome sync is enabled.
- unlimitedStorage: Ensures you can store large datasets of form data safely without running out of browser storage space.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
If you sign in with Google for cloud sync, Beform uses Chrome’s identity API and Google OAuth for authentication.
No passwords are stored or transmitted, and only your form data, profiles, and settings are uploaded to your secure Google Drive storage area.

Your Control & Choices
- Disable or enable the extension anytime from settings or Chrome’s extensions page.
- Edit, clear, or delete saved form fields or entire profiles directly from the extension popup.
- Export or import your data manually as JSON files.
- Perform a full factory reset to delete all data from local and synced storage.
- Disconnect or revoke Google access for cloud sync anytime from your Google Account settings.
Third-Party Services
The extension integrates with Google only for authentication and sync if you opt in. Donation links (e.g., Ko-fi, GPay, or UPI) are optional and redirect you to secure external pages — SudoSoft does not process or store payment information.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your saved data remains stored on your device until you delete it or perform a factory reset. Synced data (if enabled) remains in your Google account until you revoke access or remove it manually.
Security
All local storage is handled within your browser environment. Cloud-synced data uses Google’s secure infrastructure. SudoSoft does not collect analytics, personal identifiers, or tracking data from your browsing activity.
Children’s Privacy
This extension is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Updates to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Any major changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
